He chose to drank snake venom end his life because he thought it will be able to cast off his bulky body to go back.

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults. The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet. The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his
journeys and various encounters, and then leaves. Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more complex, eiching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love - and caring about someone or something and
maintaining that relationship. The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her. Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.
I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a
newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change
perception. For myself, it accomplished two things; it instilled in me a desire to one day
become a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.
What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.
Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.
There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

The tales, which pany with me in my old days, often make me thinkof some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. Thissummer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s theworld-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The LittlePrince. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not plex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has somethingwrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes theacquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, theAsteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because hehas some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he lefthis own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people,which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighterand a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups arevery odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in theSahara, on the earth. Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousandroses, is e with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose isunique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell thelittle prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, es his new friend. Atthe time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique becauseshe is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasurefriendship and be responsible to his rose. At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’sadvice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. “It’s too far. I cannot carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.” he said. He tells his friend, thepilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end theauthor doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for usto imagine, and for more, think over. One of the important characters is the rose. Growing on the planet, she isvery beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot. Inspite of they love each other, he soon es unhappy. On the time of hisdeparture, he just knows she certainly loves him. The character of the littleprince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. Onthe contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, thebusinessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in thegrown-up’s world. The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, Iguess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but notothers “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups. Unbelievable, this little book moved me a lot. I seldom think about the truemeaning of love and life before. Well, now I can say, with my shortsixteen-year’s life experience, it’s like the stars in the sky that lit myheart. Though the golden snake in the book plays a cameo role , I never forget the scene that he flashed kissed gently on the little prince’s ankle. It made me be afraid to reread this book. Later, I listened a Michael Wong’s song named Fairy-tale Story, the prince in his song is different from the prince in The Little Prince, the prince in the song is the same as Andersen’s tales’ princes, they all have happy endings. However, I think The Little Prince is a sad story. There is a saying: There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes. Now, let me talk about my reading feeling. This simple story flies over every corner of the world: a pilot (the narrator) who had an accident with his plane and crashed in the Desert of Sahara then he met the little prince from the planet B-612, and the narrator listened little prince’s travel experience of seven planets. On the seven planets, he met a variety of persons. They are the king, the conceited man, the businessman, the tippler, the lamplighter, the geographer and so on. The Little Prince is a story belongs to adults who have childlike innocence.because children don’t understand the little prince’s deep sadness.This is not so much a fairy tale, as it is a tragedy. This story tells the grow-ups’ world is full of empty，lost and loneliness with kids’ perspective. Among the story, the alcoholic is impressive. He was surrounded by a pile of beer bottles when the little prince saw him, and prince asked him why he is drinking, but he answered he want to forget his shame of drinking. 小王子开始去游览学习，他游历了众多星球。第一个星球那里住着满心控制欲的国王、自以为是的自大狂、矛盾的滑稽统治者。明明他没有一个臣民，却那么骄傲自 大; 接下来是一名虚荣心十分强的人，他以为凡是经过这里的人全都他的崇拜者，这是多么愚蠢的想法!逻辑有问题而又忧心重重的酒鬼、忠于职责的灯夫……小王子更 加忧伤了——他不明白他们都在追求些什 么，权利、虚荣、利益、僵化的知识?小王子最后到了地球，在沙漠中为了一只小羊他 遇见了飞机的飞行员。飞行员慢慢了解了小王子，也明白了他的爱——拥有了自己的玫 瑰，就拥有了自己的世界。为了回去看玫瑰，小王子舍弃了自己的身躯，飞回了自己的 星球，守护着自己的爱恋……
我们都是个孩子，心里只有简单的愿望，我们曾经执着于自己的玩具，哪怕它已
经 破旧不堪。对我们来说，它仍然是无可代替的，因为它曾经和我们一起亲密地成长。 是啊，我们心里的想法和大人们是如此的不同。我们已经在慢慢的长大，所有的'事在我 们眼里已经不是那么的简单，我们会为了一件鸡毛绿豆的小事而争风吃醋，也会为了些 小事而吵架。
看到小王子，使我想起正在从身上流失的一些东西……同时也告诉我木讷这些曾经是孩子的大人们，它提醒我们那些最简单的快乐和最纯朴的情感，告诉我们快乐的 来源。我喜欢《小王子》，正是因为它让我找回了自己小时候的天真，仿佛回到了小时候，回到了那淳朴无暇的世界里……

亲爱的老师、同学们：
在寒假里我读了一本书，它的名字叫《小王子》。
《小王子》一位名叫安东尼·德·埃克絮佩里的作家，也是飞行家的人在1943年写的，该书至今全球发行量已达五亿册，被誉为阅读率仅次于《圣经》的最佳书籍。作家通过小王子的经历，阐述了对社会上不同类型的大人的看法和批评，提出了一些发人深思的问题。
《小王子》是以儿童的角度看待世界，那是多么天真、幼稚、可爱又纯洁、真诚。在现实生活中，大人们整天忙忙碌碌，陈诺于人世浮华，专注于利益法则，可越是如此，越体验到人生意义的虚无。读了一遍《小王子》就像在清水中洗了一个澡一般心有重新变得剔透明亮了。
小 王子以孩子式的眼光，透视出成人的空虚、盲目和愚妄，用浅显天真的语言写出了人类的孤独寂寞的命运。小王子在自己的遍历世界的.过程中了解到了原来自己从未 知道的世界，但是，他却遗失了自己的最美。当他发现，已经来不及。每个人都是一样，当我们开始寻找，就已经失去，而人们却没有珍惜当下，没有珍惜寻找中的 每一个现在。
作者描述的小王子追求找寻的过程，恰恰就是我们的每天的生活，就是我们的人生。我们都无法从小王子的定势中解脱，任何人都是这样，而把这样的悖论与这样一个伤感的角色结合，就会让我们更深刻地体会道作者传达出的情感。我们就是小王子。
或许这，就是让我们哭泣的原因吧。我是这样理解的。
我们不知道自己的命运，我们不断的追求。我们都在寻找”遗失的美好“，而忘记了，会成为美好的”现在“。
失去了才懂得珍惜，遗失了才知道美好。我们都想拥有自己美丽的世界，都想现在未来都是美好的。但是，怎么可能呢?我们不能留住时间，不能让现在成为不朽，但我们可以尽力珍惜现在，尽力珍惜即将随着自己的寻找而流逝的现在。
这本书对真善美予以热情讴歌，使我回味无穷、念念不忘，还能使那些已被污染的灵魂得到洗涤，去重温失去的天真和感动。
